Position: EHS Specialist
Location: Pune (Chakan), Maharashtra
Experience: 3-7 Years
Qualification: B.Tech + ADIS
Responsibilities:
*Drive Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives within the facility, collaborating with local management to implement improvements.
*Conduct periodic and non-periodic reporting to local authorities, other required parties, and within Atomberg.
*Serve as a mentor and advisor to supervisors and staff on safety protocols.
*Organize awareness campaigns and activities to foster safe practices among employees.
*Oversee and manage EHS performance, identifying and mitigating risks across various operations.
*Maintain expertise in Chemical Safety, Electrical Safety, lifting operations, Fire Safety, and Material handling.
*Support environmental management efforts, including waste reduction and energy conservation.
*Manage waste streams (Solid, Plastic, Electronics) and monitor environmentp parameters (Air Quality, Water Quality, STP, ETP).
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety into dail operations and drive continuous improvement.
*Document safety inspections, incidents, and training activities, and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
*Stay informed about changes in environmental, health, and safety regulations and adjust policies accordingly.
Requirements:
*Experience implementing ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
*Familiarity with EPR Compliance, CTO filing, and return filings.
*Preferred expertise in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices.
*Engineering background with an Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS).
*3-6 years of experience in EHS roles.
*Knowledge of Dupont Safety Management System is advantageous.
*Proficient in safety auditing, hazard identification, and troubleshooting.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Proactive mindset with a sense of ownership.
